Cookie Policy

This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which treatments people look at, so Joana knows what the site is actually doing for the studio. It sets two cookies of its own, named _ga and one beginning _ga_, which give your browser a random id so a second page view is recognised as the same visit rather than a new one.

What it records is how the site is used: pages viewed, which treatment a Book button was for, and how far a booking got. Your name, email and phone are typed into the booking form, and the form sends those to the booking system — not to Google.

You can turn it off. Google publishes a browser add-on that opts you out of Analytics everywhere, and most browsers can block these cookies for a site directly; blocking them changes nothing about how this site works for you.

Beyond the Analytics pair, you can read the menu, check availability, and book an appointment without this site storing anything in your browser. There are no advertising cookies and no remarketing pixels here.

bbj_wix_session — holds the session that keeps you signed in to your account, so the site can show you your own bookings and orders. It is httpOnly, meaning no JavaScript on the page can read it.

bbj_wix_oauth — a short-lived cookie that exists only during the sign-in round trip, to confirm the login that comes back is the one you started. It is discarded immediately afterwards.

Signing out clears both. Clearing your browser's cookies for this site has the same effect: you are signed out, and nothing else is lost.

Sending a message to the chat concierge records the IP address it came from for about a minute, in a counter held at Upstash, so one visitor can't flood the endpoint. It is a counter, not a profile — it expires on its own and is not linked to your account, your booking, or the messages themselves.

Paying for a deposit, gift card, or package happens on a page hosted by Wix, and Joana's booking system is Wix too. Those pages set their own cookies under Wix's terms, which we don't control. The same goes for Instagram and Yelp if you follow those links out.
